This campaign was initiated by a group of Jewish leaders in philanthropy who have decades of experience funding grassroots, community-driven work in the US and around the world, including practical experience working in private foundations, public foundations, transnational grantmaking institutions, and individual donor networks. The core group of organizers also consulted with several US-based Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim leaders in designing the campaign

This campaign builds on the values and momentum of the Jews in Philanthropy letter, which was organized by a core group of Jewish philanthropic leaders who are also involved in the In Our Name Campaign. Beyond raising our voices, we are committed to using our financial resources and connections to mobilize material solidarity with the struggle for Palestinian self-determination.

This collective effort seeks to demonstrate the role that Jewish philanthropy can play in support of the struggle for Palestinian freedom, dignity, and self-determination—a move away from fear and isolation and into community and bravery with each other, with our Palestinian siblings, and towards a future where we wake up to a day when no bombs have dropped anywhere.
